Hey Anne,

The site is not meant to be eastern-Canada-centric and I apologize if you interpret it that way. Cliff (our guy in Calgary) is going to be writing a post about his experience. It’s hard for me to write with great detail about the Calgary aspect when Cliff has done the majority of work in Calgary.

He should be making his post in a day or two.

Somehow I doubt you read that sign correctly. Likely read: “God loves himself the most.” At least all the theories I’ve ever heard regarding god seem to suggest this.

Well, after reading all the “whereas” statements, it appears the councillors would be insane to not vote in favour of directing OC Transpo to run the ads. Thanks for posting the motion here.
I saw a CBC Newsworld item this morning reporting on the protest and the council meeting taking place in Ottawa. Good coverage! Banning the ads has probably increased exposure to the message a hundred fold. Delightful!

Wow. Does no one else wonder why this official site is so eastern-Canada-centric? Calgarians paid a lot of money to have the ads come to their city, and it’s very exciting, but all we get is one sentence at the end of an article about Ottawa?

Don’t forget to be regionally fair in your attention to the campaigns in your attempt to prove how unfair some other people are.
