OK, I’ll be the first to bite (and date myself), and ask for at least one performance of Lennon’s Imagine (as in: no religion).

Trevor,
I’m just as old (or young)
I’d prefer “Give Peace a Chance”

All we are saved ….. Just give “Esse” a chance.
Esse: Latin “to be” 1st person perfect is “I am”

Suggestion:
Imagine by John Lennon
Question:
Why advise people “What to wear” and why is “smart casual” a requirement? Won’t a dress code make enthusiastic young atheists uncomfortable?
To gabriel:
Enough already!

Freedom of expression means NO dress code.

I have some good Yoga music…
Yoga Masters (Yoga = Union with “God”), Sages and Self-realized persons are genuine sources of knowledge. While they might not wear a halo, they do know what “God” is.
“God”, despite widespread childish opinion, is not a person.
“God” is neither a he nor a she. “God” is Self-energetic Mass-awareness. All matter is nothing but a condensation of this unlimited field of energy. Thus, our bodies are made of “God’s” energy and our awareness is part of “God’s” Awareness.
But that needs to be realized. All those, who accomplished this realization, have the necessary qualifications to guide seekers. All other guides and teachers of the Truth – without any direct knowledge of the Truth – are what the Bible calls: “the blind leading the blind.”
The difference between Saints, Sages, and persons who are Self-realized is not really there once we understand who or what the Self is and how the Self fits in with this all-pervading field of Awareness we have termed “God”.

“When we finally tire of searching for happiness outside, we sit quietly and analyze and realize that true and lasting happiness can never come from outside. It can’t come because it simply is. You are Happiness personified. You are that Supreme Bliss. You are that Joy. You are the image of happiness. God is the one who is always happy, and you are the image of God.
When you forget your true nature and look for happiness in external ways, that is the basic ignorance. The aim of all the Yoga practices is to stop anything from disturbing the mind so that it can reflect the Peace and Joy that is your true nature.” H. H. Sri Swami Satchidanand

Yay! I bought a couple of tickets. Looking forward to the party. I notice there are not many tickets left. How many were available in the first place?
Song — (kidding kidding) “Highway to Hell”
Of course, “Imagine !” Too bad George Carlin didn’t record any music.
We are lucky to live here. Toronto is one of the great cities in the world. Maybe Dawkins or Sam Harris will show up.
See you March 6th !!

The name Toronto is likely derived from the Iroquois word tkaronto, meaning “place where trees stand in the water”.

Praise God, for in one way or another your campaign is announcing His name. God is alive, God is where you allow HIm to be, but if you close your heart He will politely stay away. One day the God of all creation will call for judgment, May it be just, May it be soon. Amen
