Toronto Streetcar Social Gathering and Celebration
Discussion February 12th, 2009We are planning on renting a TTC Streetcar with our advertisement on the side but we want to get a ball-park idea of how many people might attend. The night would begin around 8pm on March 6th with ticket holders going on a cruise around downtown Toronto on a streetcar, we would then arrive back at a yet-to-be-announced location where food and drinks might be served. This is a great way to meet supporters, campaign workers, donors, fellow skeptics, and also make new friends. All of this is still in the planning stages and nothing is set in stone but if you have any ideas about how we can make this night more fun and interesting, please comment below. Thanks!

I definitely support this and would love to attend but I’m pretty sure I would not be able to. I would be willing to contribute to it regardless ($21.42 but no more).

I am now accepting donations for my bus banner as well. All are welcome to drop by and send me $10 via PayPal link on my blog. Lets get this discussion going. I’m thinking of creating a banner to read. “Please stop all the wars and killing – NOW.” Disband the armies and get them to come home and build infrastructure here in Canada. Make peace with the muslims and all people. “Thou shalt not kill.” Remember that old saying ?

hmm i’m interested but if you guys wanna know the TTC has to have a minimum of 3 hours oh a chartered vehicle and if you guys are able try for a ALRV streetcar (the bendy ones) they may cost more but they hold more for reference heres the link http://www3.ttc.ca/TTC_Business/Charters.jsp

Thanks for your constructive commentary . I thought the purpose of this site was to engage Theists ? Or those of an opposing view? Is what I am saying more controversial than what you are preaching ? There is probably no god ? How do I know you exist Hal ? I am saying that I know for certain there is a God – because God is everything. God created all. God is in all. Even the snow falling outside. He is all there is. I am not preaching Christianity or any other religion. I happen to believe that Jesus, Buddha , the Ojibwe, and many others understood that God (Spirit/Manitou) is in everything. You seem to have a very violent reaction to that concept. Sorry, but it’s my believe. I would like to discuss it with atheists since I do not understand their position at all.
